Unexpected error - The operation completed successfully

On opening PowerBuilder 10, using your SVN SCC plugin, I get the following
error message.
Unexpected error
The operation completed successfully.

This is followed by the following information messages:

I noticed another ticket with the same issue, but it has since vanished.
:-(

The solution this ticket mentioned was to delete the .svn folder before
connecting to source control.

However, if one checks an object out in PB, makes a change, checks the
object back in. When PB is closed then re-opened, the latest version
reported for the target is the same as that just checked in.
