The project icon is not changing after adding file to project

Actually we do not control this behavior. However it is very useful in VS
,NET to use "pending checkouts" dialog which can be switched on via "view
menu". It will show you all modified files and allows to checkin them at
once.

When I’m adding new file to project the file is created and automatically
checked out for edit. The problem is that when I’m checking only these file
it is not accessible by others developers. I have to check the project too.
Maybe is it better to change the icon aside the project name in the
solution explorer to make it more clear that I have to check the project
too to make a new file accessible by others.
