This is just a copy from a post from CVSNT mailing list:

Hi all.
Well, just got a 'quick-fix' solution for the Nod32 problem from the Nod32 web forum. You don't need to completely remove the whole Nod32 IMON module. Instead you can just exclude cvsservice.exe from having it's network traffic scanned by IMON.
You can add cvsservice.exe to the exclusion list in 'Nod32 Control Center/Resident modules and filters/IMON/Setup/Advanced Setup (setup button) /Exclusion (edit button)'. I believe you have to reboot after this.
I tried it on my machine and it works like a charm.
As for the official answer - still waiting...
Hope this helps someone... Jurko

Yes, plugin is just wrapper on cvs.exe. So no difference how it is involved. Again, you need to use compatible with your server cvs.exe. You can find it: 1. With other CVSGUI, that is older than our tool 2. Installing without configuration CVS NT server on to your PC 3. Upgrading your CVS NT server to the latest version, at least 2.0.xx |

You not need to copy file. You should to point to location of cvs.exe, that is compatible with your cvs server. If you use remote server, install it version locally without configuration, and configure plugin to use cvs.exe from there. The fact is that CVS NT client consist not only from cvs.exe, but also from set of dll's, which also needed for work. And more other these dll contain protocol logic. Other question, do you have some other CVSGUI (WinCVS, Tortoise) successfully running on your PC? |

You should configure plug-in to use cvs.exe (client) compatible with your server. By default plug-in use cvs.exe from CVSNT project version 2.0.34. Also installation shipped with native linux port unix_cvs.exe version 1.1.1p1. Better to use version of CVS.exe shipped with your server, or at least with other CVSGUI client you know work with your server. Please see: http://www.pushok.com/soft_cvs_faq.php#2 for details |
