Requested operation not available offline

( SVNSCC )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 23 Mar 07 03:00 Updated: 23 Mar 07 03:00

Ok, I discovered that the problem is actually linked to closing and
reopening the IDE - not having multiple projects/repositories. The problem
is caused by having the repositories inside of a single share. I will
either move my repositories to their own shares or I will use the svn
protocol instead. This ticket can be disregarded or closed.

Sorry, I put the ticket in the wrong group. Can the ticket be placed in the
SVNSCC group?

Plugin version: SVN SCC plugin 1.4.0.1
Visual Studio version: Visual Studio 2005 Professional

The error message "Requested operation not available offline" is displayed
when I work with multiple projects and multiple repositories.

The repository provider that I am using is in the format of:

file://server/sharename/repository

Steps to reproduce error:
-Make visual studio project
-Add solution to source control
-Create repository from plugin screen that is shown. Choose FSFS as format
for repository.
-Create SVN module for solution from same screen
-Click OK and click through whatever log boxes come up.
-Check out a file from the solution
-Check file back in
-Close solution
-Make second visual studio project
-Add solution to source control
-Create a second repository from plugin screen that is shown. Choose FSFS
as format for repository.
-Create SVN module for solution from same screen
-Click OK and click through whatever log boxes come up.
-Check out a file from the solution
-Check file back in
-Close solution
-Open first solution again
-Check out file
-Try to check file back in
At this point, the error message will be displayed. If you click 'No', the
error message, "Sorry, but SVN repository still cannot be reached.
Operation unavailable" is displayed and it fails to check the file in to
the repository.
