Repository not found using pserver

Well, your output shows that your server has CVS NT 2.0.34 installed. As
I can remember this period CVS NT changes too often. Client and
server of different versions would not understand each other.
So, I have several suggestion for you:
1. Launch "cvs -d CVSROOT version" for client which plug-in use by
default. It is located in the same folder as plug-in in the cvsnt
subfolder. Check will it work or not.
2. If it not work (I am sure that it does not) you can:
a. Update server to last known as stable version (2.0.41d preffered)
or
b. Configure plug-in to use another executable as cvs client. For
example that was shipped with your WinCVS which is known to work
with your server.

We can't find anything wrong with our Pserver configuration. In fact it is
possible to use it with WinCVS. When I issue cvs -d CVSROOT -version in
WinCVS I get:

There must be something special with PB resp. PushOK CVS Proxy.

Access using SSH (ext) is not fully client-server solution. It
actually access server like with :local: protocol but via secure
shell.
This only means that you probably need configure pserver access on
your server as described here:
http://www.pushok.com/help/cvsscc/index.php?redirect=inst_plugin_unix.htm
As you may find using :pserver: you should explicitly define with
repositories are available outside the server. While with SSH you not
need define that, you can access any path on server.
JFYI plug-in tries to check existence of repository issuing command
"cvs -d CVSROOT -version".

I want to use pserver instead of ext to get better performance. Therefor I
change the CVSROOT from :ext:mm@cvs:/cvs/sd to :pserver:mm@cvs:/cvs/sd;
when I click the check button I get the message: [version aborted]:
/cvs/sd: no such repository. What is wrong ?
