This is fixed in version 1.3 of plug-in.

I got this message:
Your IDE requested rename operation. It is supported by SVN and
specified in SCC API. However till now we not know any IDE that uses this
functions...

What I was doing was renaming a query which is under source control, and
not currently checked out. I attached a screen grab. Please let me know
if you would like more details.
