Problems with project bindings in VC6, eVC3 / eVC4

( SVNSCC )

For VS 6 (and eVC) bindings are not play the same importnat role as for
VS.NET. You have several options:

1. Just pull the sources from SVN using IDE itself (open from source
control). It usually works fine.

2. Pull sources some how you wish, then issue "Add to source control". VS
says that project already in source control and will change change the
binding.

I managed to install the newest SVNSCC proxy. When I checked out a project
to my local disk, all items have the "Add" status, although they are
perfectly integrated in my repository. In VS .net if had the change to
reset the bindings to the correct server and module, so this solved my
problem. I checked, if I've added some.scc files by accident, which maybe
caused this problem, but this is not the case. In VC6 and eVC as far I've
seen it I've no possibility to correct or check the bindings. For me, these
versions are more important at the moment.

Do you have any suggestion ? Possibly the wrong binding information resides
in the project files, but reorganizing all projects would be quite a lot of
work...

Bye,
Florian Storck
