it seems that management studio is 32bit, because when i installed the
32bit version it worked. thanks for your suggestions.

hmmm, i wonder if there is an issue between 64bit Microsoft Sql Server
Management Studio 2008 and 32bit SVNSCC?

i have had the software working for a while on Microsoft Sql Server
Management Studio 2005. We are in the process of changing to Microsoft Sql
Server Management Studio 2008 and the software does not show up in the
source control dropdown list. Have you had anyone use it in Microsoft Sql
Server Management Studio 2008 successfully?
