Error when getting latest / checking out an object using CVSSCC with PB 10.2

( CVSSCC , PowerBuilder, 1.4.x, WIN XP, x64, UNIX  )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 03 Sep 09 09:00 Updated: 16 Sep 09 09:00

If you mean automatic changing of "*\CVS\Root " files then you may do it
with the help of utility "Start / Programs / Pushok Software / CVS tools".
Changing system files by other means is dangerous. Please tell us about how
exactly your colleague changed password in project root

The problem was that the user had changed the network password. He changed
the password in the CVS root at the workspace level, but there is a root
file in each pbl which also needs to be updated when the password is
changed. This caused this problem, in one machine.

If there is any way to change the password in one location, please let us
know. Else I believe, this is a defect in the proxy.

Thanks,
Girish

Unfortunately we could not repeat the mistake.
How do you write such things happen only on one machine of three.
Most likely the problem in the settings of your machine.

Error "Cannot perform this action when working offline" is shown when
Getting Latest Version or Checking Out objects from CVS. Then the process
fails. It will not check out / get latest. The CVS Root and the Module are
OK. Connection to CVS is established.

We are using PB 10.2 Build 9004 and CVSSCC Version 1.4.2.5.

This error is happening only in one machine. We are able to perform check
out and check in from two other machines.

Expecting quick response!
