"Enable File Rename Monitoring" status not shown correctly

( CVSSCC , 10.2.0 8035, 2.0.8_050927, XP SP2, 2.5.01  )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 10 May 06 05:00 Updated: 18 May 06 05:00
--> Oleg Akolupin (admin)  at 18 May 06 05:00 writes

It is not an issue now.
Earlier there are no IDE which could call "RENAME" SCCAPI function and
these radiobuttons made sense only if the rename monitor was switched on.
But now some IDE (VS 2005) can call "RENAME" SCCAPI function and
consequently these radiobuttons are globally important.

Hi,

the new DLL works fine, indeed, but there's still one thing I noticed:
the radiobuttons below the "Enable file rename monitoring"-checkbox aren't
disabled anymore if the checkbox is disabled, too. But as this is a pure
optical thing I can wait until the RC becomes a final. Let's consider this
case closed.

Thank you very much for your assistance!

Thank you for your task.
This bug will be fix in next release.

Hi,

I've just installed the RC2, but I was not abled to connect to CVS (it told
me pserver protocol ist not available, but I'm pretty sure it is,
therefore: BUG!! ;). I'm currently uninstalling the new version...

But, I can definitely say this bug still exists in this version, try this:
configure the plugin, remove the "Enable file rename monitoring" checked
status, apply the changes, close the configuration, open it again, and
there it is: the checkbox is activated again.

Btw: the radiobuttons right below the checkbox aren't disabled anymore if
the checkbox is disabled too...

Please test new version of plug-in (2.1.0.RC2)
--> GL Maritime Software GmbH (user)  at 10 May 06 05:00 writes

Helli,

When I configured the CVS proxy plugin, I disabled the file rename
monitoring checkbox (it can cause very bad things with powerbuilder). It
seems disabled, at least renaming does not affect the plugin, but when I
return to the configuration dialog the checkbox is still activated. In the
registry, the RENAMEMONITOR value is 0, so I guess it's not shown
correctly...

Best regards,
S.Czymaj
