I checked this again with version 1.2.040528, and while the result is different it is still not working correctly. Now after I checkin a message with new lines I get a single CR (0x0D) without any LF (0x0A). |

We check this again, and consider that this is fixed in 1.2.040524. |

I verified the problem still exists with 1.2.040426. I was also able to duplicate the problem with VS 6.0 (new test file attached) as well as CodeWright. All that I need to do is type a checkin comment that has at least 1 carriage return in the original message (I usually keep each line <80 characters long). |

We cannot repeat this behavior in 1.2.040426 and VS .NET. Please reopen ticket if you will be able to do this with new version. |

We will check this behavior in nearest days. I change you ticket status to "accepted", and I return to it when we check(fix) this. |

When the checkin comment spans more than 1 line there is a double CR in front of the LF character. I have seen this on the latest version as well as earlier versions with several Windows based IDEs (CodeWright and VS .NET). |
