Dealing with 3rd Party Updates

( CVSSCC )

If you talking about external libs our sources, which are not modified by
you then yes, you need to use WinCVS or other CVSGUI. It will be hard to
track this inside IDE.
You need to deal with CVS import command.

Hello,

I have a situation where I get 3rd party updates periodically. I have a
main development branch where I work in my day to day coding. Then I want
to have my 3rd party update branch, which consists only of the 3rd party
updates.

I created the 3rd party branch initially. Now that I have received an
update, I don\'t know how to add it to my 3rd party branch. Can the CVS
plugin do this, or do I need to use some tool like WINCVS?

I read something about an import command, which looks like what I need.
However, I don\'t know if this can be invoked from WINCVS.

Any help is appreciated.
