Hello There,
GREAT product, happy to use it. However, when upgrading our cvs software on our UNIX servers, it turns out it is not compatible with the latest cvs version 1.11.6 when using ext ! (works perfectly with version 1.11.5) we get a nice coredump on the server even.
analyzing what was sent over cvs using the cvs_debug variable, I got this :
Valid-requests Root Valid-responses valid-requests Repository Directory Max-dotdot Static-directory Sticky Entry Kopt Checkin-time Modified Is-modified UseUnchanged Unchanged Notify Questionable Case Argument Argumentx Global_option Gzip-stream wrapper-sendme-rcsOptions Set expand-modules ci co update diff log rlog add remove update-patches gzip-file-contents status rdiff tag rtag import admin export history release watch-on watch-off watch-add watch-remove watchers editors init annotate rannotate noop version ok E CVSROOT: invalid option -- i E Terminated with fatal signal 11 E Core dumped; preserving /tmp/cvs-serv6005 on server. E CVS locks may need cleaning up. error
Since a lot of admins keep their cvs versions updated, you may want to look into this...
Best regards,
Guy
