Checkin objects with comments but PBG file does not retain comment - error on server.

Fix available for latest version 1.3 and new version 2.0 (betta 2)

Can you let me know when this fix will be available? Otherwise we will need
to disable the use of comments in order to use the PushOk software. And our
source control team really would prefer not to do that as it keeps track of
the changes. Thanks.

Yes, using the same 'last' log message would be great.

Well, this is common problem. IDE ask as something but didn't supply any
log message for this. We now think on solution. Probably this will be the
configuration for default log message, or we just silently will use
"latest" log message if IDE does not supply it.
Probably the last is the best. What you think?

We are currently using PB 9.01 build 7119 with PBNative as our source
control. I recently downloaded a trial copy of the latest PushOk software
for CVS. The source code is on a UNIX server. I'm able to setup PushOk as
the souce control. I'm able to register the objects. My problem is once
I've check out any object and I want to check it back in, we require a
comment to be entered. There is an option on the PB source control to
enable entry of a comment which is great. The problem I'm having is that
there is a .PBG file that PowerBuilder maintains to keep track of what
object are included in what "Pibble". So when you checkout code you also
get the .PBG file and it will get checked in with your code as well. The
problem is when I enter the comment, it uses it for the checkin of the code
but does not for the .PBG which is causing the .PBG to not be checked in
properly. I just wanted to check with PushOk about this. Below is a little
more information about what happens:

What appears to be happening, is that the "Comment"/"commit" log
information is being passed for the initialization and check-in of the pb
source objects, but a subsequent and separate import of the .pbg archive
file does not have the accompanying 'comment/commit' info, and since we
require that on our side, on sol, the message "CVS Message Verification
failed" results.
