This is fixed in RC2 version.
--> Evgeny Zaritovsky (user)  at 28 Feb 05 02:00 writes

Any changes? This really bothers me as my solution contains the folder
"Authentication" and it bring me problems with my development.
--> Igor Pushkov (admin)  at 04 Feb 05 02:00 writes

Well, I put "accepted" status to your request. That means that we will try
to find
that problem and fix it. You will be notified when fix appears.

Thanks for reponse.

You might be right about historical limitations of CVS. But I did commit
this folder using WinCVS 1.2. So it looks like the problem is in CVS Proxy.

--> Igor Pushkov (admin)  at 04 Feb 05 02:00 writes

If you wish we can send the debug dll to check exact reason of
problem. However I not think it will be possible to avoid it somehow.
CVS have some historical and not clear limitation to file names. For
example it does not allow '+' characters and only for edit command.

More info:

If I add Authentication folder manually in CVS repository, then checkin is
ok. So the problem in adding folder with name Authentication during firch
checking.
--> Evgeny Zaritovsky (user)  at 03 Feb 05 02:00 writes

My solution contains several projects, one of them is a Web project
containg folder with name Authentication. This folder contains several
classes.

When I try to add the wholen solution to CVS server, all projects added
just fine (I can see it in logs), but when Web project is added, I got
unexcpectedly Login box with Password field to enter, when I enter my
password again, it proceeds, but then throws an exception message that
Authentication folder (module) is not found on CVS server. And this web
project is not added.

I tried to make some workaround and it looks like that folders with name
Authentication cannot be add to CVS.

Is it a bug? Or is it how the system supposed to be?

I test CVS Proxy for possibility of using it in my company and I have to
make a final decision if we move our version control to CVS and by your CVS
Proxy for using in our dev cicle or not.

Thanks for your help.
