2.0.58 server contain two main things:
a. Support for strict lock
b. Support for file rename
The rename not seems to be full functional and 100% ready. So only the
main thing is support for strict lock. Consider the upgrade to 2.0.58
only the strict lock is _very_ important for you.
Without upgrading server you can upgrade to plug-in 1.3. It is almost
equal in functionality to 2.0 except file rename and strict locking
support.
Not please, that it is not finally released, it is just the release
candidate 1.

and see the changes of plug-in 1.3 and 2.0

Because it is difficults to change server and all the clients.
So we are finding the safest way to upgrade our cvs envirnment.
