Can not use the plug-in in hte IAR embedded IDE

( CVSSCC , IAR embedded workbench IDE, 1.3.9_060206, WIN 2000/XP, UNIX  )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 19 Mar 06 03:00 Updated: 25 Apr 06 04:00

IAR IDE has restricted implementation of SCC API. Right now we found two
restrictions:
1. It does not allow to add project to source control, it can just
register it if it is already added.
That mean that you should add all files manually and then issue "Add to
source control command" just telling the IDE that files is under source
control.
2. IDE shows that for some projects the files are controlled only when they
located in "compil"
subfolder, no matter what you do.
We tried to move project file on upper level, change folder names and so
on, no any effect. The same behavior exist with MS SourceSafe also.
So, after this invistigation, we consider that our plug-in works as it
should be.
You probably need to contact IAR support and ask them to improve SCC
implementation.
Untill that you will deal with mentioned restriction.

I did manage to create a module using the SCC interface.
But then I used "add project to revision control", and (i) nothing added to
the CVS as far as I can see, and (ii) The IDE does not show file names in
the project browser window.

Now all revision control features are greyed out.

Please help, we are a group of developers that would like to use your
product, but we need to see it working first.
