The last note can be the reason of problem for SVN proxy.

Note please, that having imported VSS project you should _not_ use the
"Add to source control operation". Please check this section of help:

The same tool exist for CVS, you can download it from our website from
the CVS proxy help, inks page the "SourceSafe to CVS" topic:

Yes, it's still in beta and is available to MSDN subscribers only. There
are free "express" versions but they don't include source control
integration.

I will try the CVS proxy as I think (for other reasons) we will be using
CVS anyway. I tried Subversion first because it seemed to be the easier to
set up and import our SourceSafe database into.

Is there a tool you would recommend to import our SourceSafe database into
CVS, maintaining the file histories? I used vss2svn
(http://vss2svn.tigris.org/) to move it to SVN with great results.

Well, actually phrase "I use VS 2005" make a sense. We not yet test
plug-ins with that version. Does it is officially released, or this is
still the beta?
I can suggest two options trying to resolve this situation.
1. I can send the debug dll which make clear what really happens. I.e.
is it configuration error or plug-in problem.
2. You can try to use CVS proxy, it have longer life, and seems to be
better tested for compatibility.

(We are considering moving our development team to SVN/CVS from SourceSafe
and so I'm trying the proxies. At the moment I am trying the SVN proxy.)

When I add a new project to an existing solution and try to check the
changes in (as VS.NET calls it) I get the proxy window and it starts
working but never finishes. Here is what is in the window:

Checking connection to SVNURL : svn://graeme-foster/Test/ClassLibrary2
Fetching file list for: X:/Test
Creating module : svn://graeme-foster/Test/ClassLibrary2
Checking connection to SVNURL : svn://graeme-foster
Fetching file list for: X:/Test/ClassLibrary2
Adding files in: X:/Test/ClassLibrary2
Checking files in: X:/Test/ClassLibrary2
Fetching status info for folder : X:/Test
Fetching status info for folder : X:/Test
Fetching status info for folder : X:/Test
Fetching status info for folder : X:/Test
Fetching status info for folder : X:/Test

Every few minutes another "Fetching status..." line is added.

I'm using VS.NET 2005 November CTP but I'm hoping that this is irrelevant.
It's just another SCC client, after all :)
